The Amirtham Educational Institution is headed by Dr.K. Jayakurmar,

a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, Post Graduate in Management form IIT, Madras and studied Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Holland. He is a Ph.D. Scholar and an expert in Finance and Administration.

He has served in several public sector undertakings and banks for more than three decades.

He has been representing Namakkal Constituency for the last 09 Years in Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. He is also Secretary, All India Congress Committee. He is an outstanding athlete and sportsman.
